11/19/08 Well today I spent 4 hours working on the winery newsletter.....and then it wouldn't send.....piss me off.....now I'm grumpy....and I don't like to be grumpy!
But on a funnier note....I needed to fill the newsletter.....with mildly amusing stuff....well at least to me.....so ....we are having a Thanksgiving Tofu Turkey carving contest at the winery.....winner gets their turkey displayed on the website and a free bottle of wine and a t-shirt. Cool or not cool???? I giggled a lot about it anyway!

11/18/08 I've decided to teach private lampwork bead classes.....I've avoided doing this in the past because I don't like to share......my torch!!!! But after much intense therapy I've learned that sharing is a GOOD thing...

Bev and I also with be teaching some jewelry making classes at the winery.....yes, we can drink and make jewelry!! Can it get any better than that???

OMG! I can't believe it's been over 2 months since I've blah blah blahed! We had our 4th annual Jazz Festival at the winery last weekend. It was packed and a lot of fun. Although there were some drama..... I hate when people think that their views are superior and assume you that you must feel the same way as they do.
Working on some beads to post so stay tuned....

What a gorgeous day!!!! Super Bowl tonight....not that I really care....but Logan is making kick ass chilli!!!!! Maybe I'll watch the last quarter....and BTW.....

OMG!!! Heath Ledger dies!!!! He's in the Bob Dylan movie I talked about yesterday.....only 28! Cate Blanchet wins a nomination for her role in this movie.

Haven't Blah Blah'd in a while......any one see the Bob Dylan movie????? I haven't seen it but I love Bob Dylan!! And I heard that the movie is great....let me know what u thought of it!

Sometimes, life is good: Last night Rolling Stone got an exclusive screening of the new Todd Haynes film I’m Not There in which six actors portray Bob Dylan. We’re pretty much sworn to secrecy, but can’t resist giving you a few highlights:
• Cate Blanchett as Dylan, meeting Brian Jones at a party and calling the Rolling Stones a “groovy covers band,” then screaming “play your old stuff” at a statue of Jesus Christ alongside David Cross as Allen Ginsberg.
• Christian Bale as the late-’70s born-again Dylan, sermonizing about Christ and delivering the hidden Dylan gospel classic “Pressing On,” from Saved, sung by John Doe.
• My Morning Jacket’s Jim James’ heartbreaking rendition of the basement tapes chestnut “Goin’ to Acapulco” in full Rolling Thunder Review white face.
• Sonic Youth’s brilliant version of the unreleased Dylan classic “I’m Not There” from the basement tapes session that plays during the closing credits.

Happy Day After Thanksgiving!!!!! I am thankful for Bob Dylan, A.D Chandler (you rock for working the tasting bar so I don't have to!!!!) the Grateful Dead........wine, cute little puppies that I can kiss on the lips (Hank) , fall, colorful trees, chocolate covered strawberries, lobsters, & Alecia!!!!!!!!!!!!, coffee every morning made by Logan and delivered in bed, blankies, butterflies, shut the box, Van Morrison.......Days Like This.

It's cold! And we haven't turned on the heat at the winery so far! BRRRRRRR! Will just have to dance more to keep warm with my Buds! Working on making beads for Moon Dancer "Pandora" Style bracelets ....so stay tuned. For those of you that don't know what they are....they are beads with big holes that you can slide on and off bracelets.....and the holes are lined with silver! And my oxygen generator arrived today from wale apparatus!!!!! Yeah!!!!! No more oxygen tanks......love that! Downloaded a new version of Crazy Love by Van Morrison with Ray Charles for my cell ringer....really cool. Check it out and let me know what you think.

This is my buddy A.D. Chandler......isn't he hot???!!!!!! We sing and dance all day......not really Jimmy......LOL!! I love to read other people's blogs but I'm not sure I'm going to like writing them!!! I don't think I have anything interesting to say.....but here goes.....
I'm just sitting here at Moon Dancer Winery's tasting bar.....drinking some Cab Sav....and I finally figured out how to add items to our web cart....Yeah!! I don't think I'm stupid but.....duh!!! Listening to Van Morrison"s....Crazy Love.....love that song!! :)
